Overview

In Summary

The name after Hours comes from the time when Warwick Mathews, who is the owner and viticulturalist, was establishing the business and also had a full time day job elsewhere. The wine making was therefore done outside of normal work hours. The idea for the name came from Warwick's winemaker, Phil Potter.

Phil has been making the wines right from the early days, involved in all but the 2008 vintage and became full time from 2011.

The 'After Hours' brand label marks the premium range of wines. A second range of wines is labelled '9 to 5', because after all, the '9 to 5' range was produced during normal working hours!

In addition to wine production, at the After Hours Wine location, also operates the West Winds Gin Distillery.

Wine production is approximately 2,500 cases per annum.

Wine Varieties:

Cabernet Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Shiraz.
