Owner Larry Schoppe's primary focus is on producing quality wine at an affordable price. The cellar door building is rustic-pretty and charming. There's also an interesting selection of wines, and Larry is not afraid to offer something different.

There's a Sagrantino, which is a rare find and has been a challenge to grow in the vineyard. Last time I was there, I was also pleasantly surprised by an aged Sauvignon Blanc.
